Jack Wolfskin Elements XT Jacket
For all its understated design, the ELEMENTS XT is a top class technical trekking jacket made from premium quality materials.

The newly developed weather protection material, TEXAPORE O2 DENSLITE, is very waterproof and breathable yet relatively lightweight and benefits from a dense weave face fabric that is very hard wearing. Cut slightly longer for better weather protection, the jacket features five pockets, a hood and the obligatory pit zips for better climate control. The system zip gives you the option of incorporating an inner jacket.

A highly breathable polyamide fabric with a mesh structure. Used mainly as a lining material in our weather protection jackets. Perspiration passes easily through the mesh and is wicked away from the body through the weather protection layer.
A slightly lighter version of our proven weather protection laminate, TEXAPORE O2 DENSUS 2L. The fabric has a slightly less dense and durable weave but has a softer, more natural texture, which is due in part to the taslanised (crimped) yarns. Weight: 128 g/m2; hydrostatic head: 20,000 mm; MVTR: 20,000 g/m2/24h.
A light, fast drying taffeta lining made from polyester or polyamide.

A detail on our jackets and shirts. The elbow section is anatomically tailored to conform to the natural biomechanics of the elbow, significantly improving freedom of movement.
The BASIC HOOD is usually detachable. It is attached well down the collar of the jacket using press studs or a zipper and forms a reliable weatherproof unit with the jacket itself.
The hood can be adjusted to give an exact fit, with hook & loop tabs and/or a draw cord system for individual adjustment of the field of vision and volume, and thus follows the natural turning movement of the head.
An integrated peak that stands proud of the hood enhances the weather protection.
A pocket located at chest height, usually equipped with a water repellent zipper.
A special inner pocket in the jacket, in which the detached hood can be securely stowed. The pocket has a Velcro closure tab.
An additional underarm ventilation feature on our waterproof jackets. The Velcro-fix storm flaps can be opened and fixed in place to prevent involuntary closure.
The REGULAR SYSTEM ZIP is used in 3-in-1 jackets to connect inner and shell jackets.It is incorporated in regular and longer JACK WOLFSKIN jackets and in our trekking jackets in particular.
Other fleece or insulated inner jackets can be combined with the system zip to be used as a 3-in-1 jacket
A flat ‘secret’ pocket is often integrated into JACK WOLFSKIN apparel.
There are different types of pocket for different clothing. Many of our weather protection jackets are fitted with a SECRET POCKET.
This special inside pocket lies protected from weather inside the jacket, but accessible from the outside at chest height via the double cover over the front zip.
The pocket is often called a ‘Napoleon pocket’ as using it resembles the French general's famous gesture. A flat format SECRET POCKET is integrated into the side seam or pocket on skirts or trousers for keys or coins. At least half of the opening is covered by the pocket in front of it
