The breathability performance of this new alpine soft shell is determined by you – or rather by your level of activity.
That is because the amazing new fabric, STORMLOCK O2 SOFTSHELL EQUALITE, has a macroporous, air permeable yet windproof membrane, which allows a continuous exchange of warm, moist air for fresh, cool air to occur, a process that accelerates as your level of activity becomes more intensive and dynamic. This air exchange, or convection, produces an extremely high moisture vapour transmission rate through the membrane. When necessary, the internal wear climate can be further improved by using the venting pit zips.
The fabric has a water repellent finish and the jacket also features water resistant zips and a lightweight hood that can be rolled out of the collar for added protection in windy or showery weather.
